Clementine's Story...
Clementine is a gorgeous three month old golden retriever mix pup. We would possibly guess that a mix could be a Newfoundland. Clementine weighs about 15 pounds and will be a large girl. She is very confident with herself. Clementine loves everyone she meets. She is fostered in a home with other pups and dogs of many sizes. Clementine also will play with the cats. She is ready to be with HER family and start her new life.

If you are interested in giving Clementine a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clementine, a Chicago Golden Retriever/Newfoundland puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Newfoundland breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
