Billy's Story...
**Billy is located in Belvidere, IL**

Hello my name is Billy. Someone had left me in a park all by myself so my foster mom doesn't know a lot about me. They think I am around 11-12 weeks old and possibly even a purebred Lab. Momma says that I am a typical lab puppy. I am full of puppy energy and love to play. I am starting to get the hang of pottying outside, but sometimes I am having so much fun playing that I forget. I am very smart puppy and have learned to sit for my treats. I love to play with my foster brothers.

All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, heartworm tested if age appropriate; treated for fleas/ticks and urgently awaiting adoption!
The dogs and cats are so very appreciative of your support. Together we can save these forsaken loving 'innocents' who are condemned to death.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Billy, a Palatine Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
