Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER LOCATION: Meridian, ID
Do you have a ball? A soft blanket? A loving hand for belly rubs? If so, then Lucy is the dog for you!
All manners are in place with this wonderful girl. She is 8 years young and a great Lab mix. Lucy is a low-energy dog who is content to find a quiet corner to lounge in or a warm body to snuggle with. She was a bit shy the first 2 days and took to my teenager's room for quiet & comfort. Now, Lucy has shown us her fun side!
Lucy LOVES to play fetch and will carry her ball around with her when she's ready for some outside fun. She will drop the ball at your feet and sit before you toss it. She will catch it in the air, off the bounce or just run until she gets it...always bringing it back to your feet. She's not really interested in the other toys offered, even the human boy's toys...she just loves her ball! Her other favorites include car rides, long walks, belly rubs, bones & cheese!
This wonderful girl has already attached herself to her foster humans...especially her daddy. She will follow him around and lay at his feet or by his side on the couch (you just need to invite her up, since her manners tell her not to jump on the furniture.) She does great with kids, but will leave the room and find a quiet place to sleep if they get to loud. Lucy tolerates other dogs, big or small; she just doesn't play or interact too much with them. She was recently cat-tested and did great.
Lucy is house-trained & crate-trained. She does great when left in the house alone. She knows to sit and take treats gently and will even shake your hand. Lucy has been a wonderful & easy-going house guest...the perfect mix of fun and relaxing.
Lucy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped
There is a $40 adoption fee for Lucy
