Rosita's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rosita's Story...
We were alerted about a skinny dog living in a hole so our volunteers went looking. After much searching they found Rosita living under a table covered with junk. Under the table there were cinder blocks behind which Rosita had dug herself a hole. There she lived safe from intruders and out of the hot sun. It took some time to coax her out but eventually we were able to get her to our Sanctuary. Rosita is quite a sweetheart and is good with cats and other dogs. She is just as playful as a new puppy and loves to chase bubbles. Rosita is a Shepherd Lab mix, approximately two years old and weighs almost 42 pounds. She is spayed, dewormed & vaccinated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosita, a Nanaimo German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Nanaimo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Nanaimo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nanaimo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nanaimo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nanaimo paves the way for another one to be saved.
