Cookie's Story...
Cookie is an all-white, 7 month old, Havanese baby girl. She has beautiful, soft, cloud-like fur, that is non-shedding, hypoallergenic, and needs daily brushing to keep her tangle free.

Cookie is very shy when she first meets people, but warms up quickly. Once she is use to you, she is very gentle, adores you, and will follow you everywhere. She loves to cuddle, but will also play quietly with her toys when she feels like it. Cookie is good with other dogs, but definitely prefers gentle play. She is extremely well mannered, and is almost complete with potty training.

Cookie needs a fenced in yard, with no small children, or frequently visiting young kids. (She is not a fan of toddlers chasing her, and trying to pick her up.)

Cookie would love a home to call her own. Please complete an adoption application if you would like to meet Cookie!

Cookie is microchipped, spayed & up to date on her shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at if you'd like to meet her. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Cincinnati Havanese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Havanese puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
