Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sissy is a precious Chiweenie puppy who was going to be dumped in the country if EARS hadn't taken her. She is about a year old and weighs about 12 lbs. Sissy is super sweet little dog. She loves to be held and cuddled. She gets so relaxed when she's picked up, she goes limp. She gets along well with other dogs and likes to play with them but doesn't play rough. Sissy would be a great companion for someone who wants a little snuggly lap dog. Please note that we do not recommend Sissy to families with children under 5 because she has sharp teeth and nails which could accidentally hurt a small child.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs.
All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
