Samantha's Story...
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OF OUR LOVEBUGS, PLEASE SEE OUR WEBSITE FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AT WWW.LOVEBUGSRESCUE.ORG

Samantha lost her home through no fault of her own. Her family moved and did not make provisions for their pet. Samantha is simply irresistible with her adorable freckles and silky soft coat. Samantha has already been through basic obedience and knows how to sit and shake. She is submissive to other dogs, but will engage in play at any given moment. She walks great on leash and enjoys going for walks. Samantha LOVES the water and her tennis balls. She would be a great agility dog. Samantha is potty trained and will use a dog door or go out on the patio. We have not yet seen her potty on a walk, so a home with a small patio or yard would work best. This sweet natured dog is sure to make a great companion for a very special family! Samantha has the look of a sable border collie or a Cavalier King Charles mix, however has the traits of a border collie or a mini aussie shepherd.

Samantha is 8 months old and weighs 15 lbs. Her adoption fee is $300 which includes her spay, registered microchip, rabies, vaccines up to date and deworming.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Irvine Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
