My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous young man is Sven, a black beauty that is about 5 years old. Sven came to us in the summer of 2013 when someone reported a stray cat in their yard. When they approached this sweet cat, he inadvertently scratched the homeowner, who was a bit upset about it. Sven was quarantined for 10 days but it was obvious that the scratch was an accident because there wasn't a mean bone in this guy's body! Sven was a friendly, mushy guy from the start, and we were quite concerned when he became very ill a short time after he came in. Sven spent some time in our cat hospital and during his illness, he refused to let it get the better of him. He kept eating and eating to keep himself strong and soon, he kicked the infection and made a complete recovery! Sven moved into our free-roaming area after that and he now has lots of friends that he pals around with. Sven is just an all around great guy that gets along good with everyone. He loves his feline and human friends and would truly make a wonderful addition to any loving, caring family. Sven is so hopeful for a good home where he can curl up in a nice warm lap and be part of the family. Please give Sven the great home that he's dreaming of.
