A.. Marilyn Monroe's Story...
Hello there I'm Marilyn Monroe! I am beautiful cat with a cute black & white mole-type mark on my right lip. I am a special needs kitty and need a special home. I am partially blind but that doesn't stop me from running around the house with my foster siblings, begging you to pick me up for some loving and playing with my favorite toys. I must go to a one story home as I cannot do stairs due to my sight disability. I became blind after dying following my spay surgery--the doctor literally brought me back to life! I use a puppy pad to potty on as I have hypersensitivity since the incident but I use it well. I am very loving and ready for my new home -- I will fill your heart with love. If you are interested in me please complete an Adoption form for pre-approval and my foster family will contact you to set up a meeting.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an Adoption Application at www.c2cnd.org (Adoption Process Tab) for pre-approval for adoption. You can visit our pets every Saturday at Huntersville Petco from 10:30AM until 3:30PM.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A.. Marilyn Monroe, a Charlotte Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
