Vanessa is such a sweetheart! This adorable little girl is 2 years old, weighs 9lbs and has the cutest little underbite and long, lanky legs. She wants to be by you all the time and when you watch tv or sit to read, she snuggles up to you and puts her head in your lap or on your shoulder. Vanessa sleeps in a crate in her foster home but she would love to snuggle with you in bed. Vanessa ignores other dogs and cats and she doesn't play with other dogs so she would make a great only pet. She walks right next to you when on a leash and loves to run in the dog park.
Vanessa is not housebroken but she is using weewee pads in the house about 90% of the time. If you can take her out every 3 hours she would be ok or if she has dog door.
Loves to go on walks and walks right next to you on the leash. Vanessa is very quiet and barks only when someone comes to the door. She does have a habit of jumping when excited, especially when you come home or are ready to go for a walk. Because of this, she should not be around kids under 5 years old. If you turn your back and ignore the jumping she starts to calm down. We are still working on this. Vanessa will make you smile and will steal your heart immediately!
Vanessa also has some separation anxiety so needs an owner who is home most of the time and who can help her build her confidence when she is home alone.
