This beautiful shepherd mix a Blackie, a young boy that is only about a year old. Blackie was turned in to us when his owner could no longer care for him. Blackie is missing one eye from being attacked as a pup, but he gets around perfectly fine without it. Blackie is incredibly friendly, outgoing and loveable. He makes friends so easily and will stand on his hind legs within minutes of meeting you to give you a gentle hug. Blackie is very puppyish and sweet, and he just loves to run and play in our exercise yard. He was overjoyed to toss some toys around and play a game of fetch, and he would really love a good home with a nice yard to romp around in. Blackie is well behaved and walks nicely on a leash. When he is inside, he is very respectful of his surroundings and is happy to just rest his head on your lap. Blackie would prefer a home with no other dogs or cats, but loves people of all ages. This young boy is hoping for a chance to start over with a family that will love and care for him always. Please make his dreams come true. File#23374 3/17/14
