Jada really needs an angel to come along and right all of the wrongs in her life. She's had a tough time of it for sure. Jada was found last December in such a sad state. She was obviously attacked by another dog in her past but she was also heartworm positive. She went into foster care during her treatment where unfortunately, she was neglected yet again. Jada has a clean bill of health now, and now all she needs a stress-free, loving home, where she will get all of the love and attention that she's deserved all her life. Jada is about 5 years old and she is stressed in the kennel. Once away from that, she's mellow and mild-mannered, and she loves people that treat her with kindness and are gentle with her. She needs a pet-free home and one where she can take her time and get used to the good life. She is so deserving of all the best that life has to offer. Please give Jada a chance! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org for an application. File#69603 12/10/23

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
