My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello There. I am Copper and I just had a birthday. I am now an official AARB. That stands for “Amazing Assortment of Retired Beagles”. However, I like to think of it as “Amazing Adorable Reenergized Beagles”. We may have whiter faces but we have young hearts. Just think you get to see this new life and take us for walks to see and experience things we never knew before. And that is living.
I am adorable as you can see by my photos. I am a bigger boy because someone gave me too many treats. I have to go to a home that will really watch what I eat, exercise me, and give me my medicine. I take medicine because my thyroid hormone levels were low and that has made me gain weight and lose some hair. Now that I am being treated I hope to lose a lot of weight so I can accompany you on lots of walks. I am a little stiff when I first get up but I am taking a supplement and going for short walks to help me condition for longer walks. Now that I am really being taken care of as a Midwest BREW beagle I have a lot to look forward to.
I am learning to go outside to potty but I have been having frequent accidents in my foster home. You see… I drink a lot as a result of the allergy medicine I have been taking. I came to my foster home with a skin condition that the vet thinks is the result of flea allergy. It is clearing up and boy I am feeling better.
I am laid back but I really love when my foster mom comes home. I sleep in a crate but I prefer to be where my foster mom is. I also like my dog buddies and being outside. My foster mom caught me digging under the fence but that was me trying to get to some bread that was thrown out for birds.
Are you ready to accompany this amazing beagle on his new adventures?
Are you amazing and ready for one amazing, adorable, loving, sweet beagle boy who is young at heart?
Are you ready to love him with that amazing love that takes the time to teach him and to prepare him to accompany you on those long walks? Come on, we have a lot of life to live and a lot to see.
If this is you, call my foster mom and she would love to talk to you about adorable me.
