Lionel is a tall, handsome and muscular fellow from Florida. He had a career as a professional athlete running in 84 races. He raced under the name “Jedi Thundercat”, how cool is that name! He has now retired to Washington, is going by the name Lionel and looking for his forever home.

He is a sweet friendly kind of guy, who enjoys attention and walks. He is also very good at being a “slug”, (In other words he’s a good greyhound). He crates well and may feel better having his own “place”.

Lionel should not live with cats but he enjoys other dogs.

He's currently in a foster home with older kids and another greyhound.

He has a food allergy that manifests as hair lost around his eyes. He’s doing well on a fish and potato dog food.

A fenced yard is required to adopt him.
