Posey is a friendly, out-going kind of gal. She enjoys being in the center of things. She generally crates well, but if she becomes frustrated, she may tear her bedding. She enjoys rawhide bones and these will help keep her teeth clean.
She cannot live with cats but does well with other dogs.
Foster Home Update: Posey is a real darling! From the beginning, she has charmed us with her eager curiosity, adorable fluffley sounds she makes while sleeping (and alternatively, sleeping with her tongue lolling out), to splashing her food all over the kitchen (she eats much more like a lady now, thank you very much). From the first step, she handled the hardwood floors like a seasoned Golden Retriever. She is tough as nails, and boy, does she like to run! Either by herself, for an audience, or with her stuffies, this girl has got some speed.
She comes when her name is called, although she still doesn't "sit." She walks daily on a leash, with our other greyhound, and with some neighbor greyhounds, and she is very well-behaved and easy to get along with, although she does have a tendency to get a little vocal when passing other dogs who are shorter then her.
We think any family will be absolutely delighted to welcome Posey into their homes. We 're a bit jealous of them.
