Joselyn is a dog that makes us humans stop and think that we can learn important lessons from rescue dogs. Although Joselyn has been through difficult scenarios in her young life (just about 10 months - 1 year old) she has risen up and has the most positive attitude. At only 7 lbs..Carrie has the self-confidence and fun-loving nature to be overjoyed in the company of other small dogs and very gentle kids. She's so friendly and filled with a silly, playful nature that she endears herself to everyone she meets. Joselyn would love nothing more...with her social and engaging manner...than to be a constant companion. She's so portable at just 7 lbs that she's perfect to bring anywhere that a small, endearing pup is welcome. She's a natural at her foster mom's bridge games...she's quickly becoming a mascot because she's so huggable. Everyone loves her and she returns the hugs/kisses a thousand times over. Joselyn also enjoys running errands with her foster mom and dad..she's always so happy to greet everyone..just a bit submissive initially, she gains confidence after a bit. She rides shotgun and is a regular at the downtown pet supply store - she's pretty sure at least a few treats will come her way. She does very well in urban or rural environments and is very flexible and low-maintenance at all times. Carrie is independent enough to never overwhelm others with neediness...although a place on her favorite person's lap will literally make her smile. We are searching for a family who really wants the company...and accompanying responsibility...of a sweet young dog. She would not be happy with long hours alone at home...Joselyn is a sweet and endearing girl that would be so happy just to be wherever her favorite people are. That can mean sitting sweetly on a lap, a trip to a friend's house or some time at a park enjoying walks and being outside. In return...Joselyn will be the most devoted and loyal companion anyone can imagine. Joselyn is a non-shedding (or maybe a hair or 2?) girl....with regular brushing/baths and great nutrition, she should not shed at all. Joselyn is not suggested for those with severe allergy concerns.
Joselyn will be arriving on transport in Denver on 4/11. Applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and loving best friend.
