My name is Dakota and I am 6 years old. I am a happy, smart, mostly patient, sweet girl who wants to spend lots of time with my owner or family. While I have lots of energy, I also do not mind some downtime. I have not shared my home with little kids so maybe only teenage kids for me and it helps if they are comfortable with dogs. I will do almost anything for cheese or peanut butter but do not really understand the whole fetch thing but maybe someone will want to teach me. I learn very quickly and am eager to be trained. Dakota was specifically trained and it may be a good idea if you took the course to learn how she was trained. The sky is the limit if someone wants to work with me and agility training could really boost my confidence! I know basic obedience, mainly in German and I am crate trained. Also, I have really good manners as I never get on couches or beds but don't really like being alone a lot of the time. I am looking for a home as the only pet, so no other dogs or cats please, as I am a dominate female and can be a little pushy with them. I am looking for a new home because my mom is taking an important new job and will not be able to give me the time I deserve.
