This handsome young man is Benny, a shepherd/lab mix that is only a little over 2 years old, and finds himself in need of a fresh start in life. Benny came to us from the south when his time ran out in a shelter there. Benny is full of southern charm and is such a gentleman! He is happy to be safe and cared for, and is looking forward to starting his life with a wonderful family that will never let him go. Benny is very friendly and outgoing, and just a happy-go-lucky sort of guy. He makes friends easily and even gets along good with other dogs. Benny is super excited to have his walks every day so he can check out the world around him, and he's well behaved on a leash too. Benny doesn't seem to have much experience with toys, but he's learning to enjoy himself in our giant exercise yard and would love a home with a nice yard to run and play in. Benny has already been let go once in his young life.....let's show him that there is a great, forever home out there where he will be welcomed into the family with open arms. File#23324 2/23/14
