Maxine is a wonderful girl who has had tough road. She was turned into animal control pregnant. All of her pups were adopted into good homes, but poor Maxine was left behind. she was so worried about them she guarded them day and night. Now she is left behind and is still looking for her babies. She does very well with people but does not trust other dogs at this point. . she sits well , and does very good on a leash. She is good with kids and adults at pet adoption. she was patient with all the noise and staying in a cage and did not soil her territory once; waited to be walked. she weighs about 30 to 35 lbs .
she had some beautiful babies who have since been rescued. This gentle girl now needs her own rescue and a chance for love and companionship. She may have been housebroken before she came and basic skills, The shelter address: 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Lincolnton. 704 736 4125, Open 6 days a week; M-Sat 11 to 4 ;30. Closed Sunday. Adoption fee of 85.00 includes the spay or neuter , another disease preventative vaccine and a rabies vaccine, a microchip, as well as worming and a new bonus, 30 days of free insurance... jT he shelter does same day adoptions and once the adoption fee is paid, your new pet will go to vets for her spay and you will pick her up there.. . thank you for considering a shelter dog. they are special just ask anyone who has ever adopted one..
