Hi! My name is Mason. I'm sweet eight month old boy, full of puppy wiggles and excitement. I am great with people, kids, dogs, and cats. I just want everyone to be my friend so we can play play play!
At just under 65 lbs, I still think I'm a lapdog and will take any opportunity to crawl up and snuggle with you. Honestly, the closer I am to you the better…so don’t be surprised if you find my cute face wedged under your armpit ☺
Right now, I am really enjoying indoor comforts. A warm bed, full meals, and a cuddle buddy are a significant improvement from the situation I was rescued from...I was confined to a crate 20 hours a day and fed nothing but animal crackers. Despite such a rocky start, my sunny personality continues to shine. I guess you could say I am an optimist. I just know that my perfect family is out there and we'll find each other soon!
I am just a baby so I have lots of energy and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities. At the dog park, I make fast friends, wrestling and racing around. I think I would really enjoy daycare but my foster mom thinks I need to work on my manners first. What can I say? I’m a puppy! Sometimes I just get so excited that I can’t contain myself. My rambunctious style of play can sometimes be overwhelming to smaller or mellower canines but I always mean well. With the help of my foster mom, I am learning to be gentle with my playmates.
Outside of the park, I love to go hiking and am learning to run on-leash. I am fully housetrained and am working hard to perfect my 'sit' and 'down.' I am looking forward to learning even more commands with your help and maybe some cookies!
Oh and did I mention how very handsome I am? Deep brown eyes, cute little freckles, and the softest ears…how could anyone resist?
