My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHESTER & RAIDER
8 year old Male Exotic Shorthairs

COURTESY POST
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

Here is Chester, a large red and white Exotic Shorthair neutered male. Chester has large gold eyes, but when a camera is pointed at him, he quickly closes them. This boy is approximately 8 years old and in good health. Chester is Mr. Personality. Ok, so he is a bit lazy, but certainly makes up for it by loving to be held in your lap and to be cuddled. He has the short nose of this pure breed. He doesn’t mind being brushed and having his face washed. We are not sure if he has ever had a bath, but he seems to know how to stay clean.

Raider is a bit smaller than his buddy Chester, but he is still a strong and sturdy Exotic Shorthair. Raider is white with large splashes of gray tabby on his body and his ears are gray. He too has large gold eyes. He is neutered, and like his buddy Chester, approximately 8 years old and is in good health. He also has the short nose of this pure breed. Raider is outgoing and loves to be pet and talked to. He had to jump right up on the sewing table and watch what his foster mom was doing. He even answers back when she talks to him and his foster mom was told he likes to open the kitchen cupboard doors. He is also used to being brushed and having his face washed.

These boys have always lived together and are bonded. If one of them is removed from a room, the other one hollers until his buddy is returned. They have always been indoors and must continue to be indoor cats. The prior owners worked, leaving these two alone during the day and spending time with them in the evening and weekends.

Very little grooming is required, just brushing to remove old hair, face washes to keep their big eyes and their cute smushy faces clean.

These boys did not live around children but did live with a small poodle and have been around their foster mom’s dog with no problem. They seem to handle whatever comes their way with the knowledge of a mature cat.

Both boys eat wet and dry food and are litterbox perfect.
For more information on these cute and special boys, please call Frauke at 925-784-8244 or email her at loveallcats7@gmail.com.

Please note that Chester & Raider are not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with their caretaker in Oakley while Purebreds Plus places them in their new home. Adoption fee applies.
