Clyde's Story...
Clyde is a very unique colored miniature Dachshund who is looking for the right lap to curl up in! We don't know much about his history, he was transferred to us from another shelter. We do know he likes other dogs, he cuddles up on a doggy bed with his roommates, and loves people. He has been great with children that have visited with him, and loves to be held. He has a typical curious Dachshund attitude, and loves to run around sniffing everything outside. Clyde has been neutered, is current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. All he is missing is his new family! Come and visit this handsome boy at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook! We are open daily from 11-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clyde, a Benbrook Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
