What is your name?

How old are you?
I am 1-1½ years old
What do you look like?
I am a 60-pound chocolate and white colored pit bull mix. I have an adorably HUGE head that I would love to lay in your lap when you are hanging out with me.
What do you like to eat?
My foster mom has been feeding me Holistic Select Adult Health Anchovy & Sardine and Salmon Meals dry dog food, I love to eat! I will do anything you ask for food!
What kind of personality do you have?
I am a friendly, outgoing, and playful. I do well with other dogs, kids and might even do well with cats. Rumor is that I lived with cats in my old home before I ended up in the shelter. I walk nicely on leash. I am confident, friendly and happy out in public. I love to play with my ball or run circles in the yard with my foster sister, Mia. I travel nicely in the car, and I love riding shotgun.
Describe your perfect day
I love going to the office with my foster mom, I get lots of attention and playtime with all of her co-workers. After work we usually go home to play in the yard. I like to play with my foster sister Mia while my foster mom swings the baby next to us. Then we get to eat dinner and relax. At night, I LOVE to crawl under the covers and SNUGGLE in bed with my foster mom!
What is your favorite toy?
I have Zogoflex Jive ball and I love it!!! I love all balls, but I am a strong chewer, so tough toys are best for me!
Do you know any tricks?
I sit and give paw! I know to “Go Home” to go in my kennel when its time to rest.
What scares you?
Nothing scares me I am a happy confident boy
Do you have any doggie best friends?
Yes, I did great in group play as well as I love to pay and cuddle with my foster sister Mia!
How is your health?
Perfect, I have had all of my vaccines and I am neutered.
How long have you lived in your foster home?
About a month now.
Who do you live with in your foster home and who is your closest companion?
I share a home with my foster mom, Jessi. I have 2 human foster siblings, a toddler and a teenager. I also live with Mia, a female pit-mix.
Where do you hang out when you are home alone?
I am kennel trained!
Where do you sleep?
I sleep in my kennel, but there are special nights that my foster mom lets me sleep with her.
What do you love about your foster family?
I love that my foster family is so understanding and dedicated to meeting my needs. They have given me loving companions and provide me with a beautiful backyard to run and play in. I am grateful that Even Chance rescued me!
What was life like before you were rescued by Even Chance and brought into the welcoming arms of your foster parents?
A landlord found me and some other pets abandoned in a vacant home. We were taken to the shelter and since the shelter was overloaded there was risk that I might have to be euthanized due to lack of space. Luckily, Even Chance saw my photo on Shelter Buddies Facbook page and came to pick me up!
Even Chance does not operate on a first come, first serve basis. In most cases we have already decided the type of home and owner we want for our dogs. These opinions are based on the temperament tests we perform prior to accepting the dog into our program and the behaviors the dogs display as they spend time in our homes. Our agency reserves the right to deny acceptance of any dog to an owner who we feel the lifestyle does not match that of the dog. We are in no way judging you or your lifestyle; we simply want to put our dogs in the best living situation possible. We take very seriously the decision we make when it comes to placing one of our dogs in a forever home.
