My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✰✰ TOM SAWYER is ‪#‎AVAILABLE‬ (1 of 3 Mark Twain ‪#‎Pups‬ - For more photos of Tom, Huck and Becky please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/mtp.html ✰✰
Tom Sawyer (male with black collar), biggest of the lot; first at the food bowl and loudest when they all 'sing'. He’s still a bit shy about being lifted and petted, but the leader in exploring when left to his own devices.
About them as a group with Sibling info:
The real Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Becky Thatcher never had as much fun. At approximately 10 weeks (as of April 20), these BC/Lab mix puppies are having a blast chasing each other and six adult Border Collies around. Two males and one female arrived from Jamestown three days ago full of stories of whitewashing fences and life on the river. The Mark Twain Puppies are comprised of:
Huck Finn (male with blue collar), happy-go-lucky sort, up front for petting and an explorer (as to be expected); he is the first to roll over for a tummy tickle and loves being held.
Becky Thatcher (female with red collar) is a fun sister, ready to join her brothers for whatever fun they can scare up; she also loves a cuddle and gives the best kisses!
The Mark Twain pups have all been started on their puppy vaccines, wormed and microchipped. All are ready to find their forever homes and start their new adventures. As a condition of adoption, they will need to be altered by their new owner when they reach approximately six months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, the adopter is required to provide a $100 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
To be considered for adoption of one of the Mark Twain Puppies you must have an approved Adoption Application on file. In the spirit of mutual support Border Collie Rescue of Northern California has offered to forward applications from their applicants who also wish to consider adopting a dog from us http://norcalbcrescue.org/adopt_info.html. Please let us know if you have an application with BCRNC and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration. If you have an approved application and wish to enquire about adopting one of these darlings, please email Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org.

The Mark Twain pup are being fostered near Auburn.
