My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mikey was born in mid 2013. Mikey was surrendered to a shelter by his
owner because of a limp. He is most likely a bichon poodle mix and
weighs 8 lbs. He is recovering from orthopedic surgery on his left
femur and he still favors his left hind leg. He will be needing walks and exercise for the leg.
He is an endearing and
brave little character. He is sweet, affectionate, extremely playful
and inquisitive. His face is that of an old soul but he is a puppy in
every sense. He loves being held and gets along with other dogs who
are tolerant of puppy enthusiasm. He is very loving and spunky. He is
a deliberate eater and needs some reinforcement of his potty training.
Mikey has not been observed near children but has been flawless in the
company of adults. Children in the home need to be over 10 years old and he’ll need another dog to play with.
