My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I‘m Rosco, an adorable two year old boy rescued from a Greenville, SC, shelter. I didn‘t know what friends were or what toys were for. It was a little rough for me in my first few weeks learning to trust. However I am a new dog!

I love riding in the car, and Foster Mommy says I am the best dog she has ever had in the car. Everyone at the vet‘s office thinks I am a sweetheart and well-behaved. I did great in doggy daycare too. I am ok on a leash and have been friendly meeting other dogs I have met on my walks. I have been learning some commands and am quite smart! I know how to sit and go lay down.

I love to play with my new bother and sister. Tucker and I are a little vocal when we play. We all play together - check out our video! I like to play with toys; but if they are yummy ones, they are all mine. I do not like to share the good stuff. I am good with the cat at my foster home. I am curious but gentle.

I would also be happy as an only dog because I just adore my humans. I am a bed bug and will sleep with you all day. I love to be in the bed and take naps. I am pretty mellow and follow Foster Mom around and lay wherever she is.

Foster Mommy gives me baths. I don't love it, but I am a very good boy and stand still. It really does feel good (shhhh), and I am super playful afterwards.

I do not like being crated and will break out of the crate. Foster Mommy baby gated the kitchen off so that I can‘t counter surf, or get into the trash or paper towels when no one is home. That has worked out well and we haven‘t had any issues.

I am a super silly boy and will be a wonderful companion for someone...is that you? I am now READY to go to my "furever" home, so please hurry up and get your application in!

If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application and ask for Rosco!
