The stork made another delivery to Lovebugs Rescue, but this time is wasn't puppies, it was KITTENS A good samaritan was at the Del Taco drive through in Mira Loma, when she noticed a stray cat crossed in front of her car. She asked the guy at the window for some milk for the cat. He replied that is was a stray cat that has been around for some time and they feed it scraps. She took the milk over to the cat, only to find that she had 6 newborn kittens hidden in the brush (which was all wet from the rain the night before). The kittens were only about 2 feet away from where people were driving through - imagine if one rolled out in the path of traffic! Thankfully, this little family had a kitty angel watching over them and they are now safe with us.

Our adoption fee is $200 and includes spay/neuter, Felv/FIV test, first FVRCP, microchip, and deworming.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Armando Chavez, a Irvine Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
