Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SIMONE
Born March 2014, Female Black Bengal and Abyssinian/Highlander Mix
COURTESY POST
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.
What do you get when the father is a purebred Bengal and the mother is an Abyssinian/Highlander mix kitty? That’s right; you get this lovely melanistic beauty! She has a short tail, which is an unusual characteristic of the Highlander breed.
She truly is an exquisite and unusual little beauty. Simone is very smart and sweet, in addition to being absolutely cute and playful. She is also very smart. She loves to be with humans. She will crawl up your lap all the time. Of her siblings, she was the first one to walk and is the most alert. She is used to other cats and small dogs.
When she gets older, she should eventually be checked for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) because of her father’s breed since some Bengals are prone to get this condition.
If you would like more information on Simone, please contact Maria.
Contact Maria at dashenka2011@gmail.com if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application.
Please note that Simone is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with her caretaker in Sacramento, CA.
NOTE: We always require families with children to bring their children to the adoption appointment, so we can observe the child’s behavior and how the cat reacts. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
