My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava is a beautiful, delicate super star, much like her namesake, the famous Ava Gardner. This tiny, timid-at-first four years young black velvet Spaniel-mix is the sweetest thing you’ll ever meet.

According to her foster mom, her favorite thing in life is to cuddle up nice and tight to your side! She loves taking walks and can go as far or as short as you want...as long as she's with you she is happy. Ava is a dream with cats and dogs alike. Her love of cuddle takes precedence over everything. We aren’t sure her past, but we know she is now thriving in her present.

She is very mellow, still learning how to play and very smart. She ultimately proves the new saying, "you CAN teach a dog new tricks.” She has learned so many tricks so quickly! Please come out to adoptions and meet Ava today. She is excited to find her forever family and have a grand and easy life!
