This beautiful German shepherd is Ace, a 4 year old boy that would just love a great home of his own. Ace had a pretty rough time of it in his young life. It seems when his former family no longer wanted him around, they kicked and punched him. No one deserves that so we're glad that Ace is safe here with us. Ace is a bit shy upon meeting new people, and understandably so. When you see him in his run he may bark a bit at you, but that is not at all how he is outside. Once Ace meets you face to face and realizes that you're ok, he will cozy right up to you, lean on your leg, and ask you to pet him forever. Ace is a smart, well behaved guy and is even housebroken. He is strong on a leash but takes correction well and is such a fast learner. Ace loves his time in our giant exercise yard and enjoys running and exploring. He is excited to have a toy thrown for him, but doesn't do much with it when he gets it. Ace doesn't seem to mind other dogs and he would prefer a home with no small children under the age of 10. This beautiful boy is so deserving of a fresh start in life, with a family that will treat him with the love and respect that he deserves. File#23488 5/4/14
