My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This delightful young man is Seinfeld, a 5 year old chow mix that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a fresh start in life. How in the world Seinfeld became a stray wandering the city streets is beyond us, but he is very happy to be safe, fed, and cared for now. Seinfeld was quite thin and neglected when he arrived, but his lonely, hungry days are over. He is plumping up and feeling great these days, and is interviewing potential adopters. Seinfeld seems a bit nonchalant when he meets you, and is very calm and quiet. Once you take him out for a walk, he is so interested in taking in the sights and smells of the world around him, and he is very friendly too. All you need to do is sit down for a minute and Seinfeld will quietly climb up beside you and wait for you to pet him. He is very polite and just loves people. Seinfeld enjoys going in our exercise yard but doesn't show much interest in toys. It's as if no one ever played with this sweet boy before. He is happy to roam around and check things out. Seinfeld is strong on a leash but takes correction well and is well behaved. He would prefer to be an only pet but just loves people of all ages. Seinfeld is hoping for his special someone to come along and give him the wonderful home that he's always dreamed of. File#23720 4/22/14
