Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nellie is listed as a Courtesy Posting; she is not part of Penny Angels Beagle Rescue. If you are interested in Nellie, please visit beaglerescueleague.org/adoption to review the adoption process and submit an application for her OR contact pattie@beaglerescueleague.org if you have any questions.
This is what was written about Nellie: “Meet Nellie! She was surrendered to us from an out of state, high kill shelter more than a year ago, and she is still in search of her forever home. At approximately 6 years of age and 24 lbs., this lovely little lemon colored beagle has lots of miles left and would make a gentle, wonderful pet for the right family. Altered, up to date on all vaccines, micro chipped and fond of lap time (AND naptime), Nellie is definitely a sweet girl looking for someone to give her (and get back) hugs and plenty of kisses.”
“Because she cannot be placed in a home with other pets or young children, Nellie poses a bit of a dilemma for us in that we KNOW she is a wonderful girl but she will need a quieter, stable home. Dog savvy applicants with a fenced in yard are preferred and we believe a senior citizen would be awesome for this low to medium energy dog! Nellie does well on lead and is also crate trained and completely housetrained. She is not a nuisance barker and would be a lovely companion for someone who is looking simply for a housedog to devote their time to. Nellie is fine around older kids and is a gentle girl who was a shelter favorite. Our challenge has been to find her the right combination of factors she needs – stability, a fenced in yard, and a quieter environment free of other pets. If this describes you please help this little girl find her rightful place in a wonderful home.”
Are you able to give Nellie her forever home? If so, please review the adoption process and submit an application for her at this site: beaglerescueleague.org/adoption OR contact pattie@beaglerescueleague.org if you have any questions. Thank you!
