My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Ruby! I am approximately 6 years old. I weigh around 33 lbs. I am not over weight, but a larger built girl. Just more of me to love!

I spent most of my life in a kennel setting, so living in a house is a new experience for me and I love it!

Currently, I live in a foster home with my “kennel sister” (we came from the same place), Gracie, and a foster Beagle sister and Beagle/ Lab brother.

I love having a fenced in yard to run and play in. I don’t think I ever had one before!

I was not housetrained, but am doing really well. I get to spend nights out of my crate and only have to go in it when my foster parents have to leave for a few hours.

I wasn’t too fond of going in my crate at first, but have learned that being a good girl usually gets me a treat and/or a peanut butter filled chew toy.
