Petunia's Story...
Petunia is a 7 month old, 7 pound Pomeranian. When she was brought in to animal control after being found on the street, she had a broken leg. Petunia's owner was located, but she did not want Petunia any more.

So, that is where we stepped in and snatched Petunia out of animal control . Dr. Whittle at Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic operated on Petunia's leg and inserted a plate to hold the broken bones together while she healed. After six weeks, Dr. Whittle has pronounced Petunia to be all healed up and ready for her new home.

Petunia has been spayed, vaccinated, and is already microchipped and taking her mediations to protect her from fleas, heartworms and intestinal parasites. Because she is so young and tiny, Petunia is not appropriate for a family with children younger than 8 years of age.

She is an adorable tiny little doggie who is in search of a loving home now. Her adoption fee is $250.00. If you are interested in adopting Petunia, please call Judy at 770.351.7377 or write and ask for an application to adopt Petunia.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia, a Atlanta Pomeranian/Pomeranian puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Pomeranian for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Pomeranian/Pomeranian puppy from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
