Sweet sisters Rebel, a gorgeous Maine Coon, and Siren, a beautiful shorthaired gray tabby, need a home together. They love each other very much. They are declawed (front), litterbox trained, spayed females who were born March 10, 2002. Rebel is a very kind, loving cat. She loves to sleep a lot and cuddle with you if she finds you sitting on the couch. She's always looking to be petted. She loves companionship and attention. She still kneads with her paws all the time. She will also look for a foot and if you don’t have time or aren’t paying attention, she will pet herself with your foot. She loves to play as well, when in the mood. She will chase any kind of string, wrapper, bottle cap, toy with string and something at the end. Her favorite toys are the laser pointer and rubber duckies (she will steal them). Rebel is such a character. She loves to take naps with you or child, on top of the covers on your legs if you let her. She loves to watch the kids take a bath (she must wonder how we do it). She has a beautiful meow. She will converse with you when you talk to her. Rebel is also very friendly with people.
Siren is very loving and snuggly as well, but only the person she chooses. She loves to bury her head into your armpit or under your neck and sit on your lap as well. She loves to watch Animal Planet. She loves to be rubbed and petted as well. She is very shy to strangers, she will hide until she gets to know them. Siren is very afraid of very loud noises and will hide under the covers. She also hides from the sound of the vacuum. She loves to sleep with you as well. She loves to sleep under the covers next to your body. She loves the laser pointer as well. She loves the balls with feathers attached to the end. She plays when she is lying on the couch, she trys to whap your hand. She loves to play like she is the fastest cat around. She eats very daintily and cleans herself often. We joke that she is a germaphobe, because when a stranger pets her, she starts licking herself as if she doesn’t know them and doesn't know where they've been. We believe it irritates her.
Talk about two cats full of personality! Favorite things: Rebel loves to play and sleep. She loves to cuddle and play with her sister (especially at night). She loves rubber duckies. Siren loves watching Animal Planet, looking out the window, cuddling and sleeping. Their favorite toys are laser pointer, balls, plastic caps, hair scrunchies, rubber duckies and yarn/ribbon.
Rebel is excellent with children. She looks after them, especially when they are sick. She just lies down and lets them play with her, even if it is something she doesn’t care for. Siren doesn’t play with kids unless it is the boxing game. She likes to “whap” the child on the hand and run away. Siren doesn’t ever bite or scratch. She isn't at all mean. She just usually leaves when a child tries to play with her. That's Rebel's job.
