Our big girl Junie is an 8 year old Lab/Aussie mix and just the cutest thing you will see today! Hard to believe but Junie was slated to be euthanized in an out of state shelter, a lovely woman saw her and couldn’t resist that face and hopped in the car, drove down to get her and now Fuzzy Pawz has the pleasure of finding this girl a home.
Junie is your typical easy going Lab; she LOVES to be pet and loved on; but she is not in your face about it. She is content to do whatever you want to do when you want to do it. She is very good with kids but is only mildy tolerant of toddlers; she is an older girl after all and has no room in her nap schedule for such nonsense!
This lovely lady loves going for walks, playing outside and wading in the water though she is not high energy at all; any new adopter will want to keep up with this to continue with her weight loss (she’s just a bit chunky). Junie got to go camping this weekend and she was amazing! She didn't run off, she ran around and played, took a lot of naps, slept on the mat with the other dog in the foster home and didn't stuck close to her foster family.
Junie is house trained, crate trained and potty trained. She will not jump on the furniture, unless you invite her up, even then she's hesitant.
She gets along with other dogs, including the rambunctious 1.5 year old black lab in her foster home. We have not had Junie around cats but she is easy going enough that she should be fine.
Junie never barks or whines unless to alert you when somebody knocks on the door! She does shed a lot and will need to be brushed often.
