My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper was found on the side of a rode and taken in by a good Samaritan. When he was found, he was very matted and dirty, so they tried their best to clean him up and cut off the mats. He will be so handsome when his hair grows back evenly!
The veterinarian estimates that Cooper is 7-8 months old, so he is full of energy. He loves to run around the house and play with our 2 Bichons (ages 6 and 10). He gets quite rambunctious when he plays, so if you have a dog who doesn’t like that, Cooper probably wouldn’t be a fit for you. He needs to have another dog to play with, and he definitely needs a family who will spend time playing with him. He likes to chew on things, as all puppies do, but he is quickly learning to play with and chew on fuzzy squeaky toys, and has decided that he really likes them. He is quiet and doesn’t bark when people come to the door, but likes to bark and get rowdy when he is playing. Even though he loves to play, he also loves to snuggle and is quite happy being close to you.
Cooper walks well on a leash, and rides great in the car. While in foster care, he hasn’t been around cats or little children. Children should be over 10.
Wherever Cooper came from, he was not house-trained. We are working on that, and he is doing better. He is currently wearing a belly band in the house and we are trying to keep him on a schedule! For some reason the backyard is intimidating to him, but he is slowly starting to explore and go outside more.
This wonderful boy will make a loving and fun addition to your family!

Cooper is being fostered in N TX
