My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elvis s an adorable twelve week old beagle x chihuahua puppy. Elvis weighs 6 lbs now and we think he will remain a small dog. His mama weighs 13 lbs full grown. Look at those ears! Elvis is a quiet little pup. He is just a LOVE. He is a friend to all in his foster home. If you want to have a " pocket pup" then he or one of his siblings is your pup! Elvis is ready to have HIS HOME! He just wants someone to CUDDLE him all day and night.

If you are interested in giving Elvis a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly at 901-651-6322 or Angela 901-361-0089 anytime with questions.

Elvis' adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.

Elvis is living in a foster home just outside of Memphis, TN with his siblings. He will travel to his new family by pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly pet transport service to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
