Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lokai is a 10 month old Border Collie x Australian mix. His is just gorgeous! A stunning dog everyone stops and want to pet. Super sweet and friendly too. Medium energy level. Lokai loves to run and play, take long hikes or snuggle for a movie. Whatever your day holds Lokai wants to be a part of it. Lokai is great with other dogs. He is in a foster home that simply adores him! Lokai was rescued from a high kill shelter in TN. We knew the second we saw him that he had to out of there. You could no find a better, companion, buddy, friend.
If you are interested in giving Lokai a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly at 901-651-6322 or Angela at 901-361-0089 anytime with questions.
Lokai's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.
Lokai is living in a foster home just outside of Memphis, TN. He will travel to his new family by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
