Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Skylar is a 2-4 year old Border Collie that was pulled from Darke County Animal Shelter, located in a very rural area. Sklyar had been dumped there with her six 8 week old puppies by her owner because he was tired of her running off. When Skylar first came in, it was clear she had never been on a leash before and had not been treated very kindly. She was so terrified when anyone would come near her, she would roll onto her back and pee on herself.
Skylar has come a long way since then! She is still shy at first, but once she trusts you, she doesn't want you to stop petting her. She is great with children and other dogs. She doesn't appear to pay any attention to cats and she was off-leash trained at her farm foster home. A patient family with love to share would perfect for Skylar. She hasn't had any accidents in her new foster home, but keep in mind it is possible she may submissive pee when she first goes into a new environment. Other than that, she keeps a clean crate and appears mostly housebroken. Skylar really has more love to give than anything else, this girl is a special one!
