My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

!!! FAMILY DOG ALERT !!!

Foster Location: Boise, ID

When Fuzzy Pawz volunteers met 4 year old Orson about a month ago we knew we had to have him in the rescue. Here we all were at an adoption event with tons of stuff going on; people talking loudly, bustling everywhere; dogs barking and being crazy and right in the middle of all the chaos was Orson. Calm, cool, collected and happy to just be a part of it.

Orson is 77 pounds of love, humans of all ages rock his world and he would be more than happy to show you just how much he loves you with a sloppy kiss on the face. Our best guess is that this doll is a Lab/Catahoula mix giving him an amazing personality and a stunning fur coat.

This handsome man needs an active home, Orson loves, loves, loves toys; balls, Frisbees, stuffies, whatever he’ll play with it. He can entertain himself, you, your family and friends for hours. His new home will need to be committed to helping him lose 10 pounds; he enjoys a good walk (or a run is better) but he does need a bit more work on his leash skills – he’s just super eager to GO!

Orson is one smart boy who is eager to please; he knows the commands come, sit, down, shake, up (jumps up and gives you both paws), go to bed (kennel) and will speak on command. Anything you want and he is ready for it; he is so eager to please his people you can’t help but smile.

Orson does great with other dogs and would do well with children that are big enough to handle his size and enthusiasm! We are unsure of how he would be with cats; our best guess is that he would chase if they ran.

This wonderful boy is dog door trained, house trained, kennel trained. He takes treats very gently and really doesn’t have any bad habits that we can find. Unless of course you count face kisses and a wiggly butt a bad habit.

So if you 1) like doggie kisses 2) can supply Orson with lots of toys and 3) give good back scratches (Orson’s favorite) then why not apply for Orson today: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/

There is a $50 adoption fee for Orson

Orson has been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
