Even though Butter is only 6 lbs she makes up for her size with a big personality.
She is super smart, playful and so affectionate she will melt your heart in no time.
We rescued her from a very high kill pound where at just a year old she had been abandoned along with her five puppies. It is hard to imagine what she has already had to experience in her young life and while she can be quite shy at first when she meets new people it only takes a few moments to see that all she really wants is to feel safe.
Because she is so playful we would love for her to be adopted into a home with another playful dog. In fact, her best friend Franco is also available for adoption. So if you are considering adopting a pair please check out Franco's post. They are in a foster home together and adore each other.
I mean hey, between the two of them they still only total about 20 pds. :)
