Scotty's Story...
N/M, 3-4 Months, Chihuahua Mix

Hi there, Happy World! I'm Scotty, and I'm a FABULOUS little fella! I
was found as a stray, but life on the streets is certainly not suitable
for the likes of precious me! I need a person or family who will love
me, care for me, and watch out for my well-being. We little guys can
squeeze through all kinds of fences, gates, and doors so we need to be
monitored EXTRA carefully! I enjoy walks, cuddling, and being carried
around like the Little Prince that I am. (Please note: it's also
important to make sure I get plenty of exercise. Too much carrying
around will not help me to build strong muscles and bones!) Everyone can
clearly see that I am CUTE. I need a family that also understands that I
am much like a human baby, and who are willing to commit to my excellent
upbringing! How I turn out as an adult dog is directly related to how I
am raised. That is a lot for you to consider! Puppy Kindergarten is a
requirement for my adoption. That said, please come meet me if you feel
you are up to the wonderful task of patiently and gently raising
fabulous little ME.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scotty, a Denver Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
