Meet Rusty! Rusty is a young 1-1/2 yr old kitty who was found outside, as a stray, by one of our volunteers. Rusty had spent the winter outside and warmed up to his caregiver enough to become a temporary family member. When Rusty was groomed he had to be shaved as his coat had become so matted, when it was removed it came off looking like a toupee. The groomer said he was one of the nicest kitties she has ever groomed. He purred through his bath, brushing and nail trimming. He is a happy, playful soul who just wants a family of his own, so he can sit on your lap and snuggle and purr. He would love to stay inside so he can feel safe and warm. Rusty is the kind of cat who just needs you to look into his eyes to know exactly what he needs. Rusty gets along with other cats and will likely love children and dogs as his temperament is very friendly and quiet. Rusty is neutered and up-to-date on all his shots oh yes the vet also said he was a very friendly kitty too.
