Hi People,
My name is Gabriel and I’m a one year old sweetheart, with the emphasis on SWEET. I’m a cuddler and a lover, good with other dogs and people. My foster mom says I’m a very sweet little boy (only 13 pounds) with a mellow and sweet personality! (There's that word again!) Mom says I am also very quiet and very grateful to be safe and in a loving home (more about that in a minute) -- and that there is no doubt that I am VERY smart! I am already housebroken – and crate trained. You see, I have learned how to figure things out quickly!
Dad says I am a good listener and a great companion! I like to be wherever he or Mom is - but I am never, ever intrusive. If I can lie nearby, that is fine. If I can be in someone’s lap… well that is even better!!! Dad says that there is no doubt that I’m a real love bug. I LOVE to ride in the car, LOVE to go on walks, LOVE the yard, LOVE to sit on laps, and LOVE to cuddle! I just lie next to you and put my head on your chest and am as quiet and content as a little guy can be. No crazy puppy energy. Mom says I’m an old soul. (Silly Mom, I’m only one year old. Whatever does she mean?)
Before I became a FurKid I was living under a dam. Another pup and I were getting by on whatever we could find to eat and drink. We were very brave and very smart – and we stayed away from the big dogs and mean people. Then the BFK Aunties ‘swooped’ in and helped us. Now I have a safe and loving foster home, good food, clean water, a day at the doggy spa (see how handsome I am) so you can understand why I show my quiet gratitude every day!
Did I mention that I love to cuddle and love being with a special someone? I’m just a friendly, loving, mellow and affectionate guy. Oh and happy!
