Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a pink white male chinchilla looking for his new home. His name is Gilly. Gilly is 7-8 years old.
Gilly is a sweet boy. He likes to run on his flying saucer and would likely love a home where he could get out for playtime. He does well with being handled and petted. He does not bite. He really loves his herbs. As he’s a bit older, he’s calmer than the younger chins. However, he still has plenty of spunk, and could easily live to be 15-20 years old.
Gilly loves his metal flying saucer wheel and runs on it pretty frequently. He would love if his new home would get him one too.
Gilly would be a good “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had one before.
We do not know if Gilly gets along with other chinchillas.
As with all of our chinchillas/rescues, Gilly will come with 2 pounds of food to start you out (Mazuri pellets), a baggy of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell everything from hammocks to cages and everything in between – anything you could possibly need or want for your new chinchilla.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
