Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When a man stood outside a pet supply store trying to give Winchester away to any taker, one of our wonderful rescuers in SC was in the right place at the right time and offered to take him and find him a good home. Who knows where this cutie could have ended up had we not grabbed him? And we are so glad we did. Winchester was a little shy at first, but now that he knows he is safe he has come out of his shell and is a lovely dog! He seems to be about 6 months old and weighs about 25lbs. He has been a great new playmate for the resident cats and dogs in his foster home and loves the 16 year old boy too. He would probably be fine with younger kids because he's such a sweet little guy. The barking and chewing come with being a hound and a puppy, but once he is really trained he will be your perfect new family member. If you would like to adopt Winchester, please copy and paste this link to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Winchester has been fully vetted including shots, neuter, worming and microchip. Vetting and his transport up north are included in his $450 adoption fee. We cannot be certain what his true mix is.
