This is the cutest little guy. What an absolute darling. He was bought as a kitten by a couple who stayed together 4 yrs and then divorced. I don't know why she left Fredo, who was her cat, with her ex. I guess she couldn't take him where she was going. Who would leave such a treasure behind if they had a choice.? Her ex , a military man, took on the role of caring for him but now he is about to be deployed and contacted us to help find him a new home. I couldn't say "yes I will foster him" fast enough. He was in Southern California and was transported up to me in Santa Cruz.

He is a healthy, loving little guy. He arrived after his 7 hour rid a little stressed and was happy to sit on a lap and hide his head under a cat cuddler's arm. He is affectionate and adorable. I don't know him super well since he has just arrived but I know he is playful and curious. He is exactly what he looks like. Wonderful.

I think he is cat friendly. He is just a little piece of love, friendly to everyone and everything. He needs to be treasured and kept safe and smothered with love.

He eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.

I will write more when I know him better but I expect he will be adopted before that happens.

His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fredo, a Davis Exotic cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Exotic for sale in Davis, or seeking a Exotic cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Exotic breeders who help with Exotic rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
