My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous young man is Ringo, a 3 year old Tibetan Mastiff that is looking for a wonderful home of his own. Ringo had a home, but was given up because his owners are moving. Ringo was fortunate enough that a Tibetan Mastiff rescue went and took him from the home to bring him to us because if they hadn't, his owners planned on leaving him in the woods in a rural part of Pennsylvania. When we learned of another mixed breed dog in the home that is in his teens, that was facing the same fate, so we offered to take him as well and these wonderful rescue people went back for the other dog, Popeye. Ringo is adjusting well and is making friends already. He has been through a training program and is very well behaved. Ringo walks very well on a leash and is very gentle and mild mannered. Although Ringo is very easy going and laid back, this breed of dog is a strong, protective breed that would do best with an experienced pet owner. Ringo is the type that would love a nice, fenced yard to roam in and would not do well in a setting where he is leash-walked only and does not have the chance to expend his energy. He is very friendly and it only takes a moment or two of him knowing you before he does the big-dog lean against you so that you'll give him attention. Ringo gets along well with everyone but would prefer a home with no small dogs or cats. This beautiful boy is so deserving of a fresh start in life with a family that will love him forever, and never abandon him again. File#23663 6/29/14
