Have you ever wanted to be the proud owner of a purebred Russian Blue cat? Here is your chance. Just look at this precious girl. Darling, which is not just her name but also describes her darling personality, is looking for a forever home. Darling was born November 2004. Her current owner has to surrender her after she had to move into a place where they don’t allow cats. Now this little Darling needs to find a new home right away.
Darling has a pretty coat that feels as soft as that of a bunny rabbit. The Cat Fancier’s Association (CFA) describes it as follows: “One of the features of the short, silky, dense coat is the plush feel and the lack of constant shedding. The coat color is an even, bright blue, and each guard hair appears as if dipped in silver – giving the Russian a silvery sheen and lustrous appearance.” The CFA also describes the Russian Blue as a gentle cat with a somewhat shy nature around strangers. They are devoted to and affectionate with their loved ones.
Darling was declawed as a young kitty and needs to be indoors only. She is described as a talker and is really cuddly once she knows her human. She loves sitting by the window. She has been around another cat (the last picture in her bio shows her with her current companion), so we don’t expect any issues if her new forever home already has another gentle cat in the home.
